Throwback Thursday: The mysterious Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles

Do you know the movie "Mulholland Drive" by David Lynch? It's a mystery thriller with very known actors, and one of my favorite movies. 

Kennt Ihr den Film "Mulholland Drive" (deutsch: Strasse der Finsternis) von David Lynch? Der Film ist ein Mysterythriller mit sehr bekannten Schauspielern und einer meiner Lieblingsfilme. 

Exactly this Mulholland Drive is a curvaceous panorama street in the hills of LA. At this street you have a spectacular view to LA. Rich people and celebrities live in this area in huge villas, more precisely in palaces.

Genau dieser Mulholland Drive ist eine kurvenreiche sehr schoene Strasse in den Huegeln von LA. Es gibt tolle Ausblicke auf LA.  Wohlhabende Menschen und Stars leben hier in riesigen Haeusern, besser gesagt in Palast aehnlichen Anwesen. 

The drive offers some nice point of views of LA's skyline, the Hollywood sign, the hills, and of some houses. 

Die Strasse bietet einige gute Aussichtspunkte auf LA's Skyline, auf das Hollywood Schild, auf die Berge und auf viele Haeuser. 

It is said, the drive during the day should be more safe than at night. On the one hand, it should be dangerous by night to get out the car. On the other hand, the sea of LA's lights by night was fantastic, while it was granted a bit of scary (we did the drive by day and by night);)

Es wird gesagt, dass die Fahrt bei Tageslicht weitaus sicherer ist als in der Nacht. Einerseits soll es gefaehrlich sein, nachts aus dem Auto zu steigen. Andererseits war das Lichtermeer auf LA fantastisch, obwohl es zugegebenermassen schon etwas gruslig war (wir machten die Tour bei Tag und bei Nacht);)

I took the photos in December and I loved the mix of the sun and the dust.

Ich machte die Photos im Dezember und war begeistert von dem Mix aus Sonne und Nebel.

I recommend the Mulholland Drive to everybody who is going to LA on vacation, because on this drive you can see LA with all its beautiful location. 

Ich empfehle den Mulholland Drive allen, die in LA ein paar Urlaubstage verbringen wollen, weil es von dieser Strasse aus den besten Ueberblick auf LA und auf seine wunderschoene Lage gibt.
