Santa Fe's nickname ist "The City Different", and I fast found out why.
Santa Fe's Kosename ist "The City Different" (bedeutet in etwa "Die andersartige Stadt"), und ich lernte schnell warum.
There was a big central plaza with trees, park benches, food trucks and live musicians close to art galleries, shop with design and folk art, street trading, old churches and restaurants. With its 200 art galleries Santa Fe is one of the most important cities for the art scene!
Es gab einen grossen Hauptplatz mit Baeumen, Parkbaenken, Essenswaegen und Livemusikern in der Naehe von Kunstgalerien, Geschaeften fuer Design und Kunst, Strassenverkaeufen, historischen Kirchen und Restaurants. Mit seinen 200 Kunstgalerien ist Santa Fe eine der bedeutsamsten Staedte fuer die Kunstszene!
Many buildings had the Spanish pueblo architecture. Some of them are under monument protection.
Viele Gebaeude hatten den spanischen Pueblo Baustil. Einige wurden unter Denkmalschutz gestellt.

I was surprised of the beautiful churches with its historical significance: the famous Loretto church staircase as a scenery for wedding pictures, the oldest church in the USA, and the church of Saint Francis of Assisi.
Ich war erstaunt ueber die wunderschoenen Kirchen mit ihren historischen Bedeutungen: die beruehmte Treppe in der Loretto Kirche als Kulisse fuer Hochzeitsfotos, die aelteste Kirche in den USA, und die Kirche des Heiligen Francis von Assisi.

The cityscape was unique for a city in this size in the USA. Exactly that makes this city....different!
Das Stadtbild war einzigartig fuer eine Stadt dieser Groesse in den USA. Genau das macht diese Stadt ....andersartig!

I recommend a trip to Santa Fe for artists, of course, and everybody who likes history, countryside, art, galleries and museums, churches, and stroll through a city.
Ich empfehle einen Kurztrip nach Santa Fe ganz klar fuer alle Kuenstler, und fuer jeden der Geschichte, Landschaften, Kunst, Gallerien und Museen, Kirchen, und beschauliche Stadtbummel mag.
