Christmas Eve dinner far away from home in La Jolla, California

Christmas Eve, the first time my husband and I were alone. We didn't visit our families in Germany.
So we went to a long road trip and spent the Christmas Eve in La Jolla. We got a recommendation from the hotel we were, for the Restaurant Heringbone. In the middle of the eating area stood a big real tree with many lights. It was wonderful atmospheric! I loved the tuna, the delicious donuts and of course a stylish glas of sparkling wine!

Heiliger Abend, das erste Mal dass mein Mann und ich alleine waren. Wir besuchten unsere Familien in Deutschland nicht. So machten wir eine lange Rundreise mit dem Auto und verbrachten den Heiligen Abend in La Jolla. Im Hotel bekamen wir eine Empfehlung fuer das Restaurant Heringbone. In der Mitte des Essbereiches stand ein grosser echter Baum mit vielen Lichtern. Es war wunderbar stimmungsvoll! Ich liebte den Tunfisch, die koestlichen Donuts als Nachtisch und natuerlich ein stilvolles Glas Sekt!
