Tamarindo, a town on the Pacific Cost, was our first stop. I was immediately excited of beaches, country and people.
Tamarindo, ein Ort an der Pazifikkueste, war unser erstes Ziel. Ich war sofort begeistert von den Straenden, von Land und Leuten.

The Irazu has 11200 feet/3400 meters and is the highest volcano in Costa Rica. The crater lake was turquoise and looked very impressive.
Der Irazu ist mit 11200 Fuss/3400 Metern der hoechste Vulkan Costa Ricas. Der Kratersee war tuerkisgruen und sah sehr beindruckend aus.

Don't miss the Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges! The hiking trail war about 1,6 miles/2,6 km, and the hanging bridges were very good constructed, so I felt very safe. There were 16 bridges totally, some small installed and some very long hanging bridges. Nevertheless, you should be free from giddiness!
Verpasst nicht die Mistico Arenal Haenge Bruecken! Der Wanderweg war ca. 1,6 Meilen/2,6 km weit, und die Bruecken selbst waren in sehr gutem Zustand, so dass ich mich sehr sicher fuehlte. Es waren insgesamt 16 Bruecken, einige kleine fest installierte und einige sehr lange Haengebruecken. Trotzdem, schwindelfrei sollte man auf jeden Fall sein!

I ate a couple of times Casado. It was my favorite food, and everywhere very delicious. It is a typical lunch consisting of rice, beans, cooked banana, salad, vegetable, and chicken, meat, or fish. You can get it relatively cheap in local pubs.
Ich ass einige Male Casado. Es war mein Lieblingsessen, und ueberall sehr koestlich. Es besteht aus Reis, Bohnen, gekochten Bananen, Salat, Gemuese, und als kraeftige Beilage Huehnchen, Rind oder Fisch. Es ist relativ guenstig in einheimischen Lokalen zu bekommen.
The country is so various, with beaches, volcanos, and nature parks. You could do many different things, in a beautiful landscape, with friendly people, and delicious food. We went in March and had perfect weather, all the time sunshine, and just a couple of hours a rain shower. Also there were barely Mosquitos! I want to go again to Costa Rica!
Das Land ist so vielfaeltig, mit seinen Straenden, Vulkanen und Naturparks. Viele unterschiedliche Unternehmungen sind moeglich, in einer wunderbaren Landschaft, mit netten Menschen, und leckerem Essen. Wir waren im Maerz dort, hatten perfektes Wetter, mit viel Sonnenschein, und nur wenige Stunden Regenschauer. Auch hatten wir kaum Mosquitos in dieser Zeit! Ich will definitiv nochmal nach Costa Rica!
