Best Brunch in New York at Jack's Wife Freda

I read about a bistro named "Jack's Wife Freda" in New York (klick here), and so I put it on my "want-to-see-list". I found the name extraordinary, and liked the representation of the food and drink photos on their homepage. We went there on a Saturday noon. I guess a busy time;) There unsurprisingly was a line of people outside the building. Luckily we were just we two and they had a spot on the bar for us. The shop was crowded, the bartender was very mindful, and the atmosphere was great. I got poached eggs on grilled tomato and halloumi cheese and I loved it. This shop was a hotspot, and definitely worth to come by.   

Ich habe von einem Bistro in New York namens "Jack's Wife Freda" gelesen (klickt hier), und so wanderte die Adresse fuer meine anstehende New York Reise auf meine "want-to-see-Liste". Alleine den Namen fand ich aussergewoehnlich, und ich mochte die Darstellung der Essens- und Getraenke-Fotos auf deren Homepage. Wir waren da an einem Samstag Mittag. Ich schaetze mal, zur Hauptzeit ueberhaupt;) Wie nicht anders erwartet gab es eine Warteschlange bis zur Strasse. Gluecklicherweise waren wir nur zu zweit und waren mit Plaetzen an der Bar mehr als zufrieden. Der Laden war voll mit Leuten, der Barkeeper war sehr aufmerksam, und die Atmosphaere war grossartig. Ich hatte pochierte Eier auf gegrillten Tomaten und Halloumi, und ich liebte es. Dieses Bistro war definitiv ein Hotspot und einen Besuch wert.
