Lunch at Shelters 

On our road trip through Washington and British Columbia, we went to Tofino.  Tofino is a small city on the west coast of Vancouver Island, close to the Pacific Rim Nationalpark. We spent an afternoon in Tofino and Long Beach, just some hours, but enough to enchanted me. Old growth forests on the beach made it mysteries, dramatic and wild. Tofino is the final destination on the end of the street, that means the street ends there because of the west bound to the pacific. I had a little bit the feeling, I arrived the end of the world. I took some pictures and wanted to stay longer, but we had to drive back. Next time I stay longer.....

Auf unserem Roadtrip durch Washington State und Britisch Columbia fuhren wir nach Tofino. Tofino ist eine kleine Stadt an der Westkueste von Vancouver Island, nahe dem Pacific Rim Nationalpark. Wir verbrachten einen Nachmittag in Tofino und Long Beach, es waren nur einige Stunden, aber dennoch genug um mich von diesem Ort und dem Strand zu verzaubern. Durch alt gewachsene Baumstaemme und Hoelzer am Strand, hatte der Ort etwas mystisches, dramatisches, wildes. Tofino ist Endstation der Hauptverkehrsstrasse, was heisst, dass die Strasse in Tofino am Pacific endet. Ich hatte ein bisschen das Gefuehl, ich bin am Ende der Welt angekommen. Ich machte ein paar Fotos und wollte laenger bleiben, aber wir mussten leider zurueck. Naechstes Mal bleibe ich laenger.....
